| Shang Dynasty City Relics |
|
Located in the downtown of Zhengzhou, Relics of the City in Shang
City covers an area of 25 square kilometers, it is a city relics in
the early Shang Dynasty ahead of the "Ruins of Yin Dynasty in
Anyang ". At present, 7-km-long rampart of the Shang Dynasty
is standing here. 2 copper square pots were unearthed from the rampart,
which are rare imperial court's relics of the early Shang Dynasty.
The numerous relics are found including foundations, cellars, wells,
ditches, graves, bronze wares, stone wares, clam articles, jade wares,
pottery wares, primitive porcelain wares, a little of the character
bone by knife, porcelain with character signal. The find of the relics
of the Shang City can provide the rare materials in kind for studying
Slave Society and the forming & development of Chinese ancient
cities. |
