For 40 years since its foundation, Jiangsu Yanghe Group Co. Ltd has been developing gradually and the quality of its products has been constantly raising. At present, the firm covering up more than 70000 square meters of land, with more 5000 workers. It becomes one of the first-rate well-known distilleries in China with theannual output of liquor coming to over 50000 tons. The revenues of the selling amounting to 8 billion yuan, gross profit and tax amounting to 2 billion yuan.

Jiangsu Yanghe Group Co. Ltd has practised total quality control, working hard to improve the quality of Yanghe Daqu in steady way and upgrade its management level. It has also been granted consecutively the honor of "provincial Civilization Unit", "National Advanced Working Unit in the Work of Ideology of the Stuff and Wokers" for 12 years since 1984. It has also been awarded the titles of "national First-rate Energysaving Unit","National Second-rate Standardization Enterprise", "National First Class of Meterage Unit","National Top Level File Management Unit". Jiangsu Yanghe Group Co. Ltd has adopted series of ISO 9000s in quality management, and its quality system has been certificated being in conformity with GB/T 19002-1994 idt ISO 9002:1994 standard and has been awarded the Certificate of Conformity of Product Quality. Its meterage system has also been certificated in conformity with GB/T 19022.1 = ISO10012-1.

** Yanghe Brand Daqu Spirit

Yanghe Daqu uses the water from the famous "Spring of Beauty" and high quality sorghum as raw materials and yeast made in hot burning fire with wheat, barley and peasas as its ferment. The method of "Lao Wu Zeng's continuation of residues" continues to be used.Yet other traditional crafts and new technologies have also been adopted, such as "man-bred yeast", "low temperature and slow ferment", "the return to sand in the middle of the process", "slow fire distillation", "respective storage of different classes of wine","careful watering" and so on. Yanghe Daqu becomes more perfect and forms a special style of "sweetness, softness,mellowness,purity and fragrance".

In 1979, It ranked among the eight renowned wines in our country in the Third National Wine Assessment Meeting. Later, it has consecutively won the national gold and silver medals of national quality award in 1984 and 1989, realizing the dream of "Three Repeated Champions". 55%(v/v) Yanghe Daqu, 48% (v/v) Yanghe Daqu and 38%(v/v) Yanghe Daqu have all been awarded National Golden Award, 28%(v/v) Yanghe Daqu has been awarded National Silver Award. They have been appraised as the model liquor on the score of highst quality at the Natoinal Nongxian-type Liquor Sort and Apraisal Meeting held by the Light Industry in 1990. And Yanghe series of products,after stood the test of quality and test of quality system in place, have been under the licence of the check-free products of Jiangsu Province.

Yanghe Daqu comes up the National Standard GB10781. 1-89 and GB11859.1-89, and maintained high quality all the way. 55%(v/v) Yanghe Daqu, 48%(v/v) Yanghe Daqu, and 38%(v/v) Yanghe Daqu have been awarded title of Quality Certificate of state authorities.
