Itinerary:
Day 01: Entry Datong (L+D)
Arrive in Datong in the early morning. Visit the World Culture Heritage site, the famous Yungang Grottoes in the morning. In the afternoon, visit Huayan Monastery, Shanhua Monastery built during the Liao and Jin dynasties, and China's largest Nine Dragon Screen. Stay in Datong.
Day 02: Datong / Mt. Wutai (B+L+D)
In the morning, visit the Hanging Monastery and the Hengshan Mountain; in the afternoon see the oldest and biggest wooden pogoda in the world; then drive to the Buddhism holyland: Mt. Wutai. Stay in Mt. Wutai.
Day 03: Mt. Wutai Sightseeing (B+L+D)
Visit the Pusading Temple, Great Xiantong Temple, Tayuan Temple and Wanfoge Temple in the morning. In the afternoon, tour the Longquan Temple, Puhua Temple and Dailuoding Temple. Stay in Mt. Wutai.
Day 04: Mt. Wutai / Taiyuan (B+L+D)
Visit the Jinge Temple and Foguang Temple; in the afternoon drive to Taiyuan and visit Chongshan Temple and the Shanxi Provincial Museum. Stay in Taiyuan.
Day 05: Taiyuan / Pingyao (B+L+D)
Visit the Jinci Temple and Tianlongshan Caves. In the afternoon, visit the Qiao Family Courtyard, Zhenguo Temple and walking in the World Culture Heritage site, the Pingyao Ancient Town, to enjoy the Shanxi Commercial Culture. Stay in Pingyao.
Day 06: Pingyao / Hongtong / Linfen (B+L+D)
Visit the Pingyao Shuanglin Monastery. Afterwards, visit Wang Family Mansion. In the afternoon visit the Flying Rainbow (Feihong) Pogoda of Guangsheng Monastery, Susan Prison and the Great Pogoga Tree in Hongtong County. Stay in Lingfen.
Day 07: Linfen / Hukou (B+L+D)
In the morning visit the Dongyue Temple in Puxian County. In the afternoon see the breathtaking Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River. Stay in Hukou.
Day 08: Hukou / Linfen / Yuncheng (B+L+D)
Return by car to Lingfen and visit Yao's Temple; in the afternoon visit the Dincun Folk Customs Museum. Proceed to Yuncheng by car. Stay in Yuncheng.
Day 09: Yuncheng (B+L+D)
In the morning see the Guandi Temple in Haizhou; in the afternoon see the Yongle Palace in Ruicheng. Stay in Yuncheng.
Day 10: Yuncheng / Tour End (B)
In the morning, visit Pujiu Temple, Guanque Tower and the Yellow River Iron Bulls. Transfer to airport. Tour end.

- Do not believe the Chinese antique vendor come to you, the "antiques" are ALL not real.
- Don't exchange foreign currency with the "dollar vendors" individuals, exchange with them is illegal in China, contact your hotel reception or tour guide for more help.
- As a common sense, the souvenir vendors often quote very high, it is a good idea to cut half of their quote and even more, and their nod proves your strategy is working.
